Tsylia Aguf's husband Mark Aguf

My husband Mark Aguf photographed for the Board of Honor of the Academy of Architecture, Kiev, in the 1980s. A photographer was invited to the Academy to have him photographed. My husband graduated from the Art Institute and became an architect with Kievproject, one of the leading design institutes in Kiev. In the 1970s, when large numbers of Jews were leaving the country, my husband and I firmly decided to stay. We both enjoyed work. My husband wrote books on architecture and defended his thesis. My husband died in 1986. He was an outstanding architect and wrote many books on architecture. He died when he was working on his doctor's thesis.
