This here is aunt Sofia, Sofia Dicman, one of my mother?s, Dorina Fiul's sisters. The photo was taken in 1931 in Bucharest.
We loved her very much, she was like a mother to us - me and my sister Lola. She was born in Bacau in 1889, and she was a housewife. She was married to Iosef Dicman, a Jew from Cleja, and they had no children. They both left for Israel in 1959; Aunt Sofia died there in 1971, and she is buried in Rishon Le Zion, in the Gordonia cemetery.
