Simon Meer at a rally

Here I am, Simon Meer, the one on the left in front of the column I was in, at a rally on May 1st.

It was the column of the Viestul Mestesugaresti Cooperative, where I was vice-president, and the president was Stirbu Vasile,
in front of the right-hand column.

The paintings belonged to party and state leaders - neither do I recognize them anymore, nor do I remember them anymore.

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
