This is a picture taken in Cernauti, the date is unknown. He is my father's older brother, he is also called Simon, but I don't remember his first name. He was born in the 19th century. If my father was born in 1904, he was probably born around 1900, since he was a couple years older. He was an accountant. He had a family, one of his daughters was called Rita Simon, and her brother was Doliu Simon. I don't know what happened to them. I think my father's brother died before we returned from deportation, and we didn't know anything about their family.
