Marika Krpez's cousin Eva Bohm in front of a sanatorium on Fruska Gora

The picture was taken at the end of 1930 in front of the sanatorium on Fruska Gora. Standing in the front row is my cousin Eva Bohm, next to the man with the hat. My cousin Eva was born in 1930 in Subotica. She was very skinny and sick as a child. Sometime between 1938 and 1939 she went for treatment at the sanitarium on Fruska Gora, a mountain close to Novi Sad. She was sick with tuberculosis. Unfortunately in 1944 she was taken together with her younger sister Ana and her mother Klara to Auschwitz where they were killed. Her father Eugen Bohm was in the Mauthausen camp, he survived the war.
