Jaquelen Behar with his parents Iacob and Lenka Behar

This is a picture of my mother-in-law Lenka Isak Behar, nee Alfandari, my father-in-law Iacob Behar, and their son , my husband, Jacquelen Iacob Behar. The photo was taken in Sofia in 1928. My husband is two years old here. Jacquelen was born on 3rd February 1926 in Sofia. His family wasn't rich - they were workers. They weren't religious. His father entered the socialist movement right after World War I. During the Holocaust his family was interned to Vratsa.
