This document is my wedding invitation. It is written in French, because that was the wish of my wife Nina's family. In reality the invitations were written in two different ways, both Turkish and French. It was written in Turkish for my side of the family. The people around me spoke French very well but I wanted it in Turkish. The policy of "Citizen, speak in Turkish" did not affect those of us from Kadiköy. Because we were already speaking in Turkish. Everyone, man or woman, spoke Turkish, no one insisted that we spoke Turkish. Anyways there was no need.

The Centropa Collection at USHMM

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. USHMM will soon offer a Special Collections page for Centropa.
