Ilie and Reghina Herscu

This is my father's brother Ilie Herscu with his wife Reghina. The picture was taken at his wedding in Campulung la Tisa in 1937. My father, Burah Herscu, had two brothers and a sister. Ilie was born in 1906. He was a grain merchant, like my father. he married a woman named Reghina who was from Campulung la Tisa [Northwestern Bukovina] and spoke German fluently. I can tell you that she, her sister and mother stayed in Campulung and were deported to Transnistria; her mother died there and her sister returned.
