Wladyslaw Lewin

This is my uncle, Wladyslaw Lewin. It’s a studio portrait, taken in Warsaw in the 1930s.

He was the son of my maternal grandfather’s brother Marym Lewin and his wife Bela. Wladyslaw was a doctor. He survived the Holocaust in the Gulag. He died in America.
