Tereza Klein’s wedding

In this photograph, from the left, standing, are my uncle Martin Vajda; the sister of Tereza's husband; the brother of Tereza's husband; my mother's sister Persida; my father, Nikola Vajda; my uncle Lajos Vajda; in the middle is my grandmother Judita Vajda; my aunt Tereza Klein; Tereza's husband; my mother, Miroslava Vajda; and my grandfather Emil Vajda. My youngest brother, Vojislav, me, and my brother Ljubomir are seated on the floor.

My father was well-educated and made a good living as a manager, a financial specialist. He was killed in 1941 in Belgrade along with his brother Martin. My mother, Miroslava, was Serb. 

Centropa Collection acquired by USHMM

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
