Revekka and Dora Ribush

These are two sisters of my maternal grandfather Alexander Ribush's brother Natan Ribush: Revekka is on the left and Dora is on the right. They are wearing the uniforms of grammar school pupils. The picture was taken in Pskov in the 190s. Most likely the girls finished grammar school in Pskov before the Revolution of 1917.

Revekka was born in Pskov in the 1900s, became a physician and evacuated to the Urals during the war [1941-1945]. Dora was born in Pskov in the 1900s, was a housewife, survived the blockade of Leningrad and died in 1978. Natan lived in Pinsk with his family. His daughters Revekka and Dora visited Pskov very often.
