This photo was taken in a park in Piestany in 1938. At the far fright is my younger brother Tomas Urban, and I, Ladislav Urban, am sitting in the middle. The ladies were our specialized nannies, today you could call them babysitters. Because they spoke only German, we were forced to communicate with them in this language. When we were children we had two of them, but I don’t remember their names.
