My mother at a golf course

This is a photo of my mother, Alzbeta Urban. It was taken in the 1930s at the gold course in Piestany. Even today, there’s a golf course in almost the same place. My mother played sports a lot, and also participated in sports events. The Vah River flowed by our villa, where we had kayak stand. My mother used them quite often together with a friend of hers. Sports were also an opportunity to meet with friends.
