This is my uncle Avram Albuhaire with the delegates of the 18th Congress of the Bulgarian Communist Party, as it was called then. He is standing in the second row, fifht from the left. These delegates were nominated from the whole country to discuss the party's program and future. At that time congresses were held every year. My uncle was a member of parliament at that time. He was a very active party member in Bourgas, and he was not only a delegate, but he also participated in the preparation of the September Uprising in 1923. He disappeared after the Uprising. He was a very disciplined person, with excellent professional training, he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Sofia University.
