Gabor Paneth's father Lajos Paneth

My father and me (I'm in the pram) in the City Park on Margaret Island. My father Lajos was an elementary school teacher. He first taught in the Jewish elementary school in Nagymarton (one of the so-called sheva kehilot, the ?seven communities? of Jews in the present-day province of Burgenland, Austria), then in Liptoszentmiklos, in what is now Slovakia. When he moved to Budapest, he worked in a state elementary school. He married my mother in 1925. Although my father worked hard, he spent a lot ot time with me.
