L-16 submarine crew. My brother Leonid is sitting the 4th on the left. The photograph made on the occasion of the end of the military actions in Vladivostok in 1945.

In 1945 my brother was at the war with Japan. He served on the L-19 boat at the Far East. After 4 months he was transferred to the L-16 boat and this saved his life. The L-19 sank at the Laperuz strait at the end of the war. My brother was a professional military. He served in the Far East until 1961. In 1961 he was transferred to Feodosia in the Crimea. He was deputy commander of a submarine there and retired in the rank of commander.
