Elisabeth Hanak has a background in Social Sciences and studied at the University of Cologne and Humboldt University of Berlin, where she specialized in democracy and social transformation. Alongside her studies, she was involved in projects on antisemitism prevention and educational initiatives. Before joining Centropa in June 2026 as a Project Coordinator, she gained professional experience in academic research and project work. She joined Centropa out of a commitment to preserving Jewish culture and historical remembrance. At Centropa, she coordinates educational and cultural projects.
