Our brand-new German-English language traveling exhibition "Survival in Sarajevo: Jews, Muslims and Christians Working Together During the Bosnian War, 1992-1995" is already on its second stop. On June 4 at Neue Mittelschule Lassnitzhöhe near Graz, Centropa's EU Education Director Fabian Rühle and Ulrike Lackner, teacher of History and Arts, and participant of the Summer Academy 2011 in Sarajevo, gave keynote addresses to 30 visitors from all over Styria. The exhibition is on display till June 14.
In February Centropa's traveling exhibition "Stories from a family album" was in Sopron at the Eötvös József Evangelical High School. Our partner teachers at the school - Bernadett Csehi, Márta Újvári, Ákos Bánfi, and Zoltán Telekes - organized an exhibition opening which was covered by the local media, and they trained some of their students to be tour guides. We would like to thank to everyone at the Eötvös József Evangelical School for hosting it, especially to Bernadett Csehi who took the lead in organizing all of this. Congratulations to all of you!
On Feb 17-18, Centropa will hold its annual US West Coast seminar for educators from public and Jewish high schools.
