On the first weekend of February, we organized a seminar for teachers of Győr, Hungary. 23 teachers came together to learn about Centropa's interview and photo database, our collected family stories, and the films and exhibitions we offer for classroom use. We also presented the Visegrád video competition, a video making opportunity for student to compete with the students of the Visegrád countries.

Centropa is proud to announce the launch of Remember. Empower. Act: Memory, Identity, and Education Against Antisemitism (REACT), a new 24-month European project bringing together intergenerational memory, Jewish youth activism, education, and artistic expression co-funded by the European Union.
Mapping Jewish memory brings teachers, university and school students together from Germany, Greece, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Serbia and Croatia to learn more about 20th century Jewish history. Our aim is to strengthen European Holocaust remembrance by mapping historically significant sites related to the Holocaust and Jewish life before and after the war.
