Olha lives in a small and beautiful town Sambir in Ukraine. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature and German language from Drohobych State Pedagogical University and a Master's degree in English language and translation from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Olha works for more than 15 years as an English teacher and a translator. She has been with Centropa since 2019 as a regular participant of seminars, online events and summer academies. Olha uses Centropa materials during her lessons. She also learned a lot about Jewish history of her native town and together with her students created a short film about an old Jewish cemetery in Sambir.
In 2023 Olha became a Centropa coordinator in Ukraine. She is running Centropa seminars in Ukraine and is involved in two Centropa projects- a web-site “Our History. Your Story.” and an exhibition “A Ukrainian Jewish century”.
