
Daniel Bernsen is a German educator and author specializing in history and modern language instruction, with a particular focus on media integration and game-based learning in education.
Bernsen completed his studies in Bonn, Brussels, and Münster, supported by a scholarship from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. After completing his teacher training, he taught history, French, and Spanish at various schools in Rhineland-Palatinate.
From 2020 to 2023, he worked as a facilitator for German schools abroad in Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. Currently, Bernsen serves as the head of the upper school at the German School Alexander von Humboldt in Mexico City, where he also leads the history department, promoting a bilingual and bicultural educational environment.
Bernsen is an advocate for game-based learning, the use of games, and media education in the classroom. He has conducted workshops and training sessions for educators and contributed to educational literature.
