I remember Pesach. My mother prepared for the holiday and cleaned the house. She changed the curtains to fancy ones and covered the tables with fancy tablecloths. My father brought matzah from the synagogue. I was responsible for taking chickens to the shochet. Grunia, her husband and their baby son visited us. My father conducted seder reclining on cushions. He put away a piece of matzah and gave a gift to one of the children who found it.
