Before Uncle Rahamim came to us, he was in a labor camp in Kailuka [15] near Pleven. He was caught going outside during the forbidden hours and that’s why he was sent there. There was a fire at the place where the Jews were imprisoned and ten Jews died. My uncle survived. He lived in Sofia and died there.
