There, on Wolska Street, the owner of the apartment had a daughter, Halina, who belonged to the organization [AL]. 1st of July is my birthday, but also the name-day of Halina. Halina decided to organize a party for our group, but I wasn’t invited. At night, during the party, they got arrested. They found weapons, they found leaflets. No one out of that group returned. They were taken to Auschwitz, maybe some of them were killed immediately.

 

In any case, Halina had my address written down. I lived on Radna then.
