Wedding picture of the daughter of Leon Madzhar's aunt Buka Sabitay
This is a wedding photo of Kalina and Mois. Kalina is the daughter of Buka Sabitay (nee Madzhar) (sitting on the left), who is a sister of my father Mordohay Sabitay Madzhar. Next to her is her husband Yako. The child on the left is Marsela, daughter of Rashel Sabitay (nee Madzhar), sister of my father. The photo was taken in Sofia in 1934. Buka and Yako have four children. My father had two brothers, Rahamin and Aron, and four sisters ? Miriam, Buka, Vida and Rashel. All of them except Buka left with their families for Israel after the war. Rahamin processed guts, Aron was a butcher and the women were housewives.
