Sima Shvarts husband's brother Izya Verksler

My husband's brother Izya Verksler, during his army service in the Far East. My husband was the eldest son in his family; he had a sister Roza, brother Grisha, a sister Sonya and brother Izya. They were born into a very poor Jewish family, in a small shtetl called Gomel in Belarus. Only Izya is still alive today. He lives in Kiev. Last year he celebrated his golden wedding. Izya fought in the war [WWII], then fought against Japan, and then he stayed in the Far East.
