Sima-Liba Nerubenko’s brother Syoma Rotzenmar

My brother Syoma Rotzenmar that perished in the first months of the war. Photo made in Leningrad in 1939. My brother couldn't come home to attend the reunion of our family in summer 1939 and sent his photograph instead.

My parents had eight children.

My brother Syoma was born in 1910. In 1927 he finished a technical school, served in the Red army went to the front at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and perished in summer 1941. He was single. He was the most handsome boy in our family and my mother was very proud of him.
