This is a photo of my daughter Raia and me. It was taken in Sofia in 1962.
My wife Anna is a doctor. I met her in the reading-room of the library of the Jewish community in the 1950s. At that time I was a law student but I also worked there as a librarian. It was a rich library, visited by a lot of Jewish students. There I met Anna and we soon got married - we had a secular wedding. Our daughter Raia is a teacher of Spanish language at the Spanish high school in Sofia.
