October rally in Mukachevo

In this picture you can see an October rally in the streets of Mukachevo, probably in the 1950's. Every year in October there were rallies held. Attendance was compulsory for everyone. Colleagues, various firms and factories tried to present themselves as well and beautifully as possible. During the celebration everything in the town was decorated. Various institutions even competed amongst each other in who had the most beautiful decorations.
