These are Nikolay and Elena Mladenovi, my grandchildren, the children of my daughter Ani Mladenova. The photo was taken in Sofia in the 1980s.
Now Nikolay works in Canada as a computer specialist and Elena is an engineer in the Water Supply and Drainage company. My great-grandchildren - Mladen and Anton Mladenovi - seven and two years old, are the sons of my grandson Nikolay and grandsons of my daughter Ani.
The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. USHMM will soon offer a Special Collections page for Centropa.
