Meyer Goldstein's uncle Menachem and his wife Lea

Meyer Goldstein's uncle Menachem and his wife Lea

My uncle Menakhem Goldstein and his wife Lea. The photo was taken in 1939. They were shot by the fascists in Krasnodar. My father had brothers. His oldest brother Leib was a tailor. His second brother Menakhem was also a confectioner. All of my relatives were evacuated. Only Menakhem and his wife did not want to be evacuated for some reason, when my mother left. Later, when the Germans were very close, he, his wife Lea and my grandmother Rukhlya went to Krasnodar. My grandmother died on the train and was buried right there by the railways. In Krasnodar they lived for about six months before the Germans occupied Krasnodar, gathered all the local and evacuated Jews and shot them. There my uncle Menachem and aunt Lea died.
