Manya Shubinskaya
This is my cousin Manya Shubinskaya, the daughter of my father's brother Naum Shubinsky. The photo was taken in August 1938 in Zvenigorodka . Nuchem stayed in Zvenigorodka during World War II and was killed by the Germans. In this picture you can see his daughter with a cigarette. She was also killed by the Germans: she looked out of the window and was shot.

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
