This is my sister Lena. She was born in 1912, four years after me. After graduating from the seven-year school, she married. Lena was a housewife in Trans-Carpathians and raised two sons.
My mother, Tsivye Reitech Sukhenko, bore 10 children; four died when they were very young. Lena and I had two other sisters: Tanya and Inna.
