Ira and Silvia Sternberg

This is a family photo from the wedding of my cousin Silvia Sternberg in 1935 taken by a photographer from Campulung Moldovenesc. This was the last time the entire family reunited before World War II.

Both the bride and groom were murdered. Silvia died at the begining of 1942 in a place near Bug river, and Ira was shot in June 1941, by the Russian while he was in a convoy of Zionists prisoners.
