Florentin Iosif

This is my father Iosif but everybody called him Pepo Florentin. This picture must have been taken before I was born because he had shaved off the mustache by then. I think it is probably a passport or identity card picture because it seems like it has been torn from a document and it has a stamp from the 'Thessaloniki Council.'  

My father started off as a money changer but then worked with my grandfather and uncle in 'Galerie Moderne,' their furniture shop. Unfortunately he was taken by the Germans from Thessaloniki to the Auschwitz concentration camp for extermination.
