This is me, Feliks Nieznanowski, in Dzierzoniow in 1946. Our group of young Jewish survivors discovered a Jewish mass burial site. I think they must be victims of the death march from Auschwitz. We decided to commemorate this place - we arranged the funeral.
The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
