Emil Dan Kohn at the Talmud Torah competition

This photo was taken on the occasion of the Talmud Torah competition (a contest regarding knowledge of the Torah and of the Jewish tradition). My son Emil won the 2nd prize. The competition took place in Bucharest, on the 12th and the 13th of September, 1982. Emil is being congratulated by the chief rabbi, Dr. Moses Rosen.

Our son, Emil Dan, was born on 28th December 1971 in Arad. He took part in Talmud lessons, and in 1994 he left for Israel. He now lives in Tel Aviv. He graduated from the Technion University, the Israel Institute of Technology, and subsequently took postgraduate courses in Haifa. He works as a software developer.
