In our teacher training program, we provide educational materials and methods to support the teaching of Jewish history and the Holocaust, with a current focus on the stories of Jewish women.
During the seminar, we
- explored Budapest's Jewish heritage, past and present;
- participated in a Shabbat reception and introduce relevant Jewish traditions;
- learned about the Centropa database and the oral history method, focusing on personal stories that are part of the HerStories project and related teaching materials;
- worked together to develop new educational materials;
- presented Centropa's traveling exhibitions and educational programs for students: training courses, workshops, and city walks.
