The project is based on the ‘Survival in Sarajevo’ exhibition of Centropa Foundation, which represents and commemorates the cooperation and heroism of a Sarajevo community during the Balkan wars. The students of the three participating schools were enthusiastic to work together, and presented the exhibition as student guides during the opening of the exhibition – both in Hungarian and in English. The project was part of the Common Ground Educational Program, where students could learn about each other's school, its history, and each other’s everyday lives. During the encounters, the relationship between the students became closer and closer, and at the final event the children welcomed each other as friends.
