Halva de bimbriyo (Sweet made of quince)

- 2 kg. of quince
- 1 kg. of sugar
- The juice of one lemon

Peel the quinces, wash them and cut them into pieces. After boiling and straining send them trough a blender. Put the sugar in a pot, add the quince juice and boil them together mixing them with a wooden spoon. When the mixture becomes hard enough add the lemon juice and remove the pot from the stove  Put some lemon juice on a plate and spread the mixture over it. When serving cut the halva into rectangular pieces.
