As one of the European key organizations in Holocaust Education, Centropa has been working successfully in this field for more than 15 years. Our European outreach includes partnerships with schools, institutions, and teachers in 27 European countries (17 EU member states). The cooperation with these partners ensures the widest possible dissemination of Centropa materials, helping us reach our goal of increasing knowledge on the Holocaust and the importance of Jewish heritage and remembrance.
In order to provide opportunities for professional development as well as educational programs for teachers and students, Centropa has signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the following Ministries and state-accredited educational institutions:
- Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports of the Hellenic Republic (Athens, Greece)
- Jewish Museum of Greece (Athens, Greece)
- International Commission for the Evaluation of the Crimes of the Nazi and Soviet Occupation Regimes in Lithuania (Vilnius, Lithuania)
- The Education and Teacher Training Agency (Zagreb, Croatia)
- National Education Institute (Ljubljana, Slovenia)
- Department of Education Administration and Public Education Authorities (Budapest, Hungary)
- Galicia Jewish Museum (Kraków, Poland)
