Sophie Pownall

Sophie is a communications expert and has been managing Centropa's social media channels  since 2023. She mainly supports Centropa Hamburg with social media for the imemory project. She also works in the sector of digital political education, developing e-learning courses, videos, and other communication materials at edeos - digital education in Berlin. She has previously worked in the non profit sector at organisations such as the ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung. She completed her BA and MA in European Studies at the University of Bath.
