This is a picture taken before the war, I think in 1937 since this was the year we finished the American school of Thessaloniki, the Anatolia College. In our class we were five or six Jewish girls. Here on the left that's me and then a school mate of mine named Jeana Kovo and then another classmate, Frida Benroubi, both were Jewish. Unfortunately neither of them came back from the camps.
