Yvonne Michel and her husband Henri Michel

This is my husband's older sister Yvonne Molho, who married Henri Michel. The photo was taken in Thessaloniki at their wedding, but I don?t know when exactly. I never met them; I know them only by the photographs and of what they used to tell me about them. Henri was a clerk in a shop that sold fabric and Yvonne was taking care of her family. She was known for her kind heart and had problems with her husband because during the winter she would give their coal away to the poor, which of course he did not appreciate very much. They had a son called Davi, Daviko, who was twelve years old when they were deported. They never came back from the concentration camps.
