This picture was taken in 1998. It's my birthday. I don?t usually like to celebrate my birthday, but I got this together anyway. I thought it was a nice round number. We were in a restaurant, thirteen family members were there, if I remember correctly. My daughter Juli took this picture, beside me you can see my cousin, Gyorgy Karman. I?m close with him. His family is also very nice and important to me. I?ve known his wife, Jutka, for decades. Gyuri's mother was aunt Szera, my maternal grandmother's sister's grandson. I?m in close relations with the branch of the family that comes from aunt Szera.They played an important part in my life. Especially, since after the Holocaust, I had lost my parents, and was an orphan. After the war, they loved me like my mother did.
