Emma Nikonova with her husband and grandson

It is my spouse Nikolay Nikonov and my younger grandson Ivan (son of our younger son Vladimir). Unlike our older son Àlexei, whose family life is all right, Vladimir was not so lucky: he divorced his wife soon after the birth of the child. My husband and me, concerned about our son and small grandson, try, despite our ailments and problems, to devote as much time as possible to taking care of the kid. My husband, Nikolai Nikonov was born in 1929 in Tula region. We got married in 1956 and have not separated since. He's got no anti-Semitic feelings to anybody at all. He is very kind, soft, sympathetic man, devoted to his family. In 1947-1952 he studied in the Construction Institute in Leningrad. He has been buiding and repairing bridges in Leningrad all his life. Our children do not feel themselves Jews, although the daughter of our elder son Natasha not only has left for Israel without any influence from our family, but decided not to come back to Russia. Now she is a student and she is 22 years old.
