On the 30-31 of October we showed the first version of our newest film and held a workshop for Centropa veteran teachers in Hungary. The goal of this program was to work on lesson plans based on this new film, get feedback on the film, and we also held a video making workshop to build confidence in teachers to participate with their students in Centropa's video competition "Our Town's Jewish History".
The new film is on the life of Captain Miksa Domonkos, father of Centropa interviewee István Domonkos. The film will be available on our website very soon.
The workshop was held in partnership with the Tom Lantos Institute, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Budapest office, as well as the Norwegian Fund.
