On Tuesday, 19 March 2019, at Liceul Teoretic Iulia Hasdeu Lugoj, took place the activity „At Home with Anne Frank”. The students of the class X D involved in this activity learnt about the rights and the civil liberties and about the consequences of the violation of those rights and civil liberties done by the totalitarian regime.
For the International Holocaust Remembrance Day (27 of January) and the victims of the Pogrom of Bucharest (21-23 January 1941), the students from the High School „Iulia Hasdeu” Lugoj have participated in January 2019 in the project entitled „Glimmers in the Night of the Holocaust”. The students involved in this project have engraved, by cropping, a series of notions and terms related to the Holocaust on cardboard cylinders.
On November 15, 2018, HasdEU Students' Film Festival - 6th edition was held. Within the framework of the FFEH6 project, 70 students from the "Iulia Hasdeu" High School in Lugoj have produced 5-7 minute films about the history of their own family. Besides interviews with grandparents and parents, students used old family photographs to make these films. The best films were awarded with diplomas and prizes in objects with the logo of the event.
On the occasion of The National day of Commemorating the Holocaust in Romania- October 9, the students and the teachers from Liceul Teoretic „Iulia Hasdeu” Lugoj have organized many special activities. Thereby, in „The Holocaust Through Children’s Eyes” project, the students who are part of the „Jew’s History. The Holocaust” Circle, and other high school students, involved in a contest of drawings with themes that reflect The Holocaust. The best creations have been awarded. An exposition has been realized with those creations.

The students of the 1st class from a Highschool in Thessaloniki in Greece created a video about Moshe Haelion, a Holocaust survivor. Moshe Haelion was born in Thessaloniki in Greece on 26th February 1926. He survived Auschwitz, the death march, Mauthausen, Melk and Ebensee.
