Hello CSA Colleagues!
I know I;m a day late, but I was too exhausted to write last night. Day one was incredible, especially touring the Ring of Vienna. I never realized how many transformations and extensions Vienna has undergone. It was also nice to get back to what I loved teaching. I haven't taught history in five years and I was reminded how beautiful European history is and the influences they take from their neighbors. Dinner was also an experience. It's nice to see how the Viennese, and I'm sure it's a generalization of Europeans, to eat family style and to be outside. It's a relaxing way of life that I wish Americans would adapt to. We're always go, go, go and sometimes Americans need to stop and smell the roses and the beauty all around.
