Idea: To use online tools like Facebook, YouTube and web blog to engage young minds in holocaust and human rights education. Connecting students and school around the world in educational social network project. First schools involved are Cakovec High School (Croatia) and Escola Basica e Secundaria de Airaes (Portugal).
We will produce videos about our school, country, city, history and about the time of Holocaust.
We work with two survivors from Croatia and we will publish their videos.
The eighth grade students of the Petar Pop Arsov Primary School in Skopje (Macedonia) have created a short video about their town's Jewish history. While making their film they learnt research skills, history, English, video and digital technology. They designed this presentation to give teachers and students some guidelines about the stages of making a film based on their own experience. We hope you'll enjoy watching our film and find our presentation useful. Have fun making your film!
These films were made by students of The 13th Belgrade Grammar School in Belgrade, Serbia. They give us an excellent introduction to this historic and beautiful city, as seen through the eyes of teenagers today.
